CBT: That’s Life

First there were Bonecrusher and then the Washboard.  Then we turned the corner and there it was the rapid named CBT!  You choose how you want to see it, but either way, it is CBT.  CBT stands for either “Could Be Trouble” or “Could Be Terrific”.

Regardless how you view the future, you might as well begin to accept the fact that CBT stands for “Could Be Terrific”!  Because even if the future event turns out to be trouble, it will be in the past tense once it is evident it was trouble, so why not view the future with and optimistic twist?

Our CBT of a day started just as the day might suggest.  Our first requirement outside the ordinary was to squeeze into a body suit.  As a 50 year old man, it had the same feeling as jumping into a Speedo for a day at the beach.  All of me was tightly fit into a Saran Wrap body suit.  This is not bad, if you enjoy the outline of your body to be displayed to all.

But the rafting turned out to be terrific.  The wet suit made its way back to the proper storage location and our life went back to normal!

The entire crew boarded one of the famous Jammers at Apgar and spent the next few hours on the Going to the Sun Road.  It was an enjoyable and entertaining ride and Logan’s Pass still had several feet of snow.  We learned a glacier is at least 100 feet deep, covers at least 25 acres and is moving down the face of a mountain.  The cloudy day made the view of glaciers extremely difficult.

We were informed by a cheerleader that we were walking on a glacier at one point.  Some might have suggested she was blond, but not me.

It is safe to say, everyone was exhausted after our day that CBT!
